Dave has been a resident of Colehill since 1990 and has worked in several local companies as a software developer and test manager. He is married with three children all attending local schools.
He is a member of Wessex Singers, who regularly perform concerts in St.Michael's Church. He enjoys music of all varieties and his hobbies including cycling and technology.
As Councillor Barnes, Dave joined the Council in the elections of May 2011 and he serves on the Highways and Plans Committee. He is also one of the SID volunteers - responsible for locating the Council's Speed Indicator Device (shared with Holt) and extracting the data for analysis.
