10th June - Chairman of Council, KD Johnson (in the black) and County Councillor Janet Dover cut the ribbon to formally open the "Safer Routes to School" cycleway across the Colehill Triangle Village Green and Kyrchil Corner Common.

Also in the photograph are (Left to Right) Colehill Councillor John Warren, PCSO Matt Johnson, County Traffic Officer Andrew Bradley, County Rights-of-Way Officer Simon Gledhill, St. Michael's Head Teacher Paul Nation, Teacher Miles Tradewell, PC Steve Brett - and many of the cyclists from St. Michael's, who will be using the cycleway.

27th May 2010 - Chairman of Council, KD Johnson (R), and Vice-Chairman, Dave Mitchell, met with Annette Brooke MP to discuss concerns of Colehill residents.

Items discussed included the A31 Ferndown and Wimborne bypass and Canford Bottom Roundabout, also Dorset County's Revenue Support Grant and the demise of and possible successor to the Regional Spatial Strategy.

Mrs. Brooke will be holding MP's surgeries at Colehill library, beginning on 25th June, to avoid queues consituents are invited to arrange an appointment in advance by calling her office on 01202 693555.
