Colehill Evening Women’s Institute

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month (excluding August)

at Colehill Memorial Hall, Cannon Hill Road 7.30p.m.

The meetings are lively, friendly and usually involve interesting and varied speakers on a wide range of topics.  There is a mixed age group, and there is time for a coffee/tea and a chat during the evening.

The ideals of the Women’s Institute of truth, justice, tolerance and fellowship are as strong and important now in the 21st century as they were at the birth of the WI in 1915.  The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK.  It exists to educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.
